THROOP MUSEUM FEATURED ON TRAVEL CHANNEL

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ Throop Pharmacy Museum and its curator Lee Anna Obos, RPh, will be featured in the Friday, June 24 episode of the Travel Channel’s “Mysteries at the Museum.” The show will air at 9:00 pm ET (see below for dates and times of re-airings).

Mysteries at the Museum filmed on location at the pharmacy museum in November 2015, during which time they interviewed Ms. Obos, who also serves as an instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Below is a description of the episode; the Throop Museum will be featured in the story about the “poisonous powder”:

SEASON FINALE: “Bobbed Hair Bandit, A Deadly Substitution, Escape from the Jungle” – Premieres Friday, June 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT – Don Wildman examines an elegant dress linked to a fashionable felon, a jar filled with a poisonous powder that recalls a bittersweet event, and a giant plane that speaks to an incredible survival tale.

The episode will re-air on the following dates:
