Graduate Application Information
The 2021 graduate application for the M.S. Molecular Biosciences; and M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences programs is open until June 1, 2021. Applications are reviewed and admission interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for a tuition scholarship as part of the admissions review process.
  • B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The degree must be conferred prior to enrollment at ACPHS.
     
  • Prerequisite and recommended coursework:
    • M.S. Molecular Biosciences prerequisite courses (one of the following):
      • Cell Biology
      • Molecular Biology
      • Molecular Genetics
        • Additionally, the following courses are recommended:
          • Biochemistry
          • Immunology
          • Microbiology
             
    • M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences recommended courses:
      • Molecular Biology
      • Human Physiology or Anatomy and Physiology
      • Biochemistry
        • Additionally, the following courses are recommended based on a student's area of interest:
          • Pharmacokinetics
            • Calculus I
            • Calculus II
          • Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis for Drug Discovery
            • Analytical Chemistry
            • Physical Chemistry
  • Completed and officially submitted application containing:
    • Names and contact information of two faculty or professional references
    • Personal essay describing your interest in the specific master's degree program at ACPHS
    • Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
       
  • All transcripts must be submitted electronically using admissions@acphs.edu as the recipient or mailed by the authorized institution to:

  • Official GRE (general test) scores. The exam must have been completed within the past five years and results should be sent directly to ACPHS (Code 2013) by ETS. 
  • An official WES or ECE course-by-course evaluation for coursework completed outside of the United States is required and can be submitted electronically to ACPHS. 
     
  • Official TOEFL (minimum score of 84) or IELTS (minimum score of 7) results are required as demonstration of English language proficiency. This requirement may be waived for applicants who have been studying in the United States for at least two years prior to the time of application. Official results can be submitted electronically to ACPHS.
