Thursday, October 10, 2024, has been declared World Mental Health Day by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
Given the mental health epidemic within our communities, observances such as this are critical to raising awareness of mental wellbeing and alleviating the stigma typically associated with mental health issues.
With a newly launched undergraduate program in psychology, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has faculty experts available to discuss the importance of these observances, as well as some of the associated challenges and opportunities.
