ALBANY, N.Y. - September 17, 2015 - The U.S. Department of Education has released the "College Scorecard," a new website that details costs, graduation rates, debt, and post-college earnings for more than 7,000 colleges and universities.
The Scorecard leverages federal government data stretching back 18 years with the goal of helping students, parents, and their advisers make better college choices.
Among the findings reported for ACPHS, the median salary of former students ten years after entering school is $110,600 (the national average is $34,343).
The College's graduation and retention rates are also higher than the national average. The ACPHS graduation rate is 71% compared to the the national average of 44%. ACPHS' first year retention rate is 81% * versus the national average of 67%.
According to a statement released by the White House, the Scorecard can "empower Americans to rate colleges based on what matters most to them; to highlight colleges that are serving students of all backgrounds well; and to focus on making a quality, affordable education within reach."
