2023 White Coat Recipients
On Friday, September 27, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) will recognize its newest pharmacy students at its time-honored annual tradition, the White Coat Ceremony. During the ceremony, Doctor of Pharmacy students will be presented with their white coats by faculty and take their oath to the field. It is a symbolic transition in their journeys to become pharmacists.
Approximately 108 students will receive white coats this year surrounded by nearly 500 of their families and friends.

WHY:
The White Coat Ceremony symbolizes a commitment by students to become competent and caring professionals. The cloaking ceremony is performed by faculty members of the College, who have the responsibility of guiding students on their path to becoming pharmacists.
