Latest College Scorecard Ranking Highlights List of Accolades for ACPHS

November 12, 2018

In the 2018 edition of the federal government’s College Scorecard, ACPHS has retained its #2 ranking in the country for Salary After Attending with a median salary of $124,700; this achievement is just one of several honors bestowed upon the College this fall.

There were a total of 3,871 colleges and universities who were evaluated in the Salary After Attending category. Salary figures are based on the median earnings of former students who received federal financial aid, at 10 years after entering the school. The $124,700 median salary of ACPHS graduates from this year's Scorecard represents a $2,100 increase over the figure attributed to the school in 2017.

Below is a list of some of the other notable recognition received by the College:

Wall Street Journal - #1 Value-Added College

Rankings released earlier this year by The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education found ACPHS adds more value to its students' outcomes than any of the nearly 1,000 colleges and universities evaluated for the report.

ACPHS was ranked "at the very top" of the added-value list, the same ranking it received in a similar 2015 Brookings Institution report. According to The Wall Street Journal, ten years after enrolling at the College, ACPHS graduates earn nearly $30,000 more than the predictive model would expect.

Niche.com – Top 1% for Value

Niche.com, a website that boasts more than 100 million ratings and reviews from “real people,” gave ACPHS an A+ grade for value as part of its Best Colleges in America rankings. ACPHS was ranked #18 out of 1,590 colleges and universities in the value category, which puts the school in the top 1% nationwide.

Payscale.com – High Salaries and High Impact

The website Payscale.com, which provides compensation guidance for both employees and employers, publishes a College Salary Report each year which ranks colleges and universities by the median salaries of their alumni.

In this year’s report, ACPHS is ranked #6 in the country with alumni earning Early Career pay (0-5 years of experience) of $80,200 and Mid-Career pay (10+ years experience) of $142,600.

As impressively, survey respondents were also asked if they felt “their work makes the world a better place,” and 83% of ACPHS alumni said yes. It is by far the highest figure among the top 50 schools, with the next closest at 69%.

College Factual – High Standards and Quality Outcomes

College Factual, a leading source of college data analytics and insights, does a Best Colleges Ranking highlighting schools that “meet high standards and provide quality outcomes to students.” Factors that make up the ranking include student-to-faculty ratio, graduation rates, student loan default rates, and other quality metrics.

In the 2018 report, ACPHS is ranked #130 out of 1,779 schools in the country (top 7%). This position marks a 79 place improvement over last year’s #209 ranking.
