President Tofade speaking at the Faculty Staff Retreat on Aug. 14, 2024
August 23, 2024

ACPHS’ annual faculty/staff retreat on Aug. 14 focused on adapting to change, with a keynote presentation by Dr. Barbara Trautlein of Change Catalysts. Following a pre-retreat assessment, faculty and staff explored change styles rooted in head, hands or heart – and what their own style meant for their contributions to changes occurring on campus.

President Toyin Tofade provided an update on several priorities and initiatives, and introduced the 2023-24 Leadership Cohort, faculty and staff selected to participate in the inaugural leadership program that she facilitated.  The cohort presented work undertaken to create a new testing center on campus.

A time-honored tradition at the annual event was special recognition from Human Resources Director Heather Erwin and enthusiastic rounds of applause for employees earning promotions and achieving the milestones noted below.
