Pharmacy Pathways
High School Students
BS + PharmD, six years to completion. This pathway is for applicants who enter ACPHS directly from high school. Our Pharmacy Early Assurance Program allows you to earn a Bachelor of Science and a PharmD concurrently in six years. It helps you start your career quickly, saving time and money while gaining essential skills and exploring over 100 career paths with the support of faculty.
Transfer Students
BS + PharmD, five to six years to completion. This pathway is for applicants who have earned college credits or a bachelor's degree or higher from another institution. Your timeline for completing the PharmD depends on prior coursework completed and outstanding prerequisites you have when entering ACPHS. Through our Pharmacy Early Assurance Program, your seat in the professional PharmD program will be reserved as you work on completing the prerequisites.
Professional First Year (P1) Entry
All prerequisites completed, professional PharmD program. This pathway is for applicants who have completed all prerequisites upon entering ACPHS, typically after four years of undergraduate study. A bachelor's degree is not required, only the completion of prerequisites. Students who enter the PharmD program without a Bachelor of Science degree can earn a bachelor’s concurrently with a PharmD by completing three additional credits.
Professional Transfer
Personalized timeline and curriculum for PharmD completion. This pathway is for applicants who have already matriculated in a professional pharmacy program and are looking to transfer. Equivalent status is not guaranteed. Students may enter the P1, P2, or P3 year to complete some didactic work on campus before going on P4 pharmacy-practice rotations.
