In honor of National Pharmacy Week, NYS Assemblyman John McDonald will today share a proclamation with the campus community at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ which urges all citizens to acknowledge the valuable services of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who work in inpatient, outpatient, home-care, and long-term-care settings and all they do to help patients make the best use of their medicines.

During the ceremony, Doctor of Pharmacy students will be presented with their white coats by faculty and take their oath to the field. It is a symbolic transition in their journeys to become pharmacists.
