Corporate Partnerships
ACPHS corporate partnerships help create lasting impacts on students, communities and the future of health care.
Corporate Partnerships: Advancing Health and Education Together
At ACPHS, our corporate partnerships go far beyond traditional sponsorships—they are powerful collaborations that drive innovation, strengthen communities and prepare the next generation of health-care leaders.
Whether we’re working with global pharmaceutical companies or local nonprofits, these partnerships play a vital role in driving progress across four key areas:
Education & Workforce Development
Our partners help shape the future of health care by giving students real-world exposure through internships, fellowships and hands-on training. Together, we’re preparing a workforce equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving biopharmaceutical and health-care industry and creating pipelines of skilled talent.
Community Health Impact
In collaboration with local organizations, we’re tackling health disparities head-on. Corporate support helps us expand access to essential services, from chronic-disease screenings to public-health education, improving outcomes for underserved populations.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Corporate partnerships also power innovation through initiatives like AMPS Incubator, our business incubator that supports early-stage biotech companies and student entrepreneurs. These collaborations foster a culture of creativity, problem-solving and discovery that benefits the broader health-care ecosystem.
Career Pathways
Our network of corporate partners opens doors to career opportunities for students and alumni alike. From networking events and mentorship to job placements and joint research, these relationships ensure that our graduates are ready to lead—and thrive—in their chosen fields.

Community Outreach
The Collaboratory
The Collaboratory—short for “laboratory for collaboration”—is a community health hub created by ACPHS to foster meaningful partnerships with local organizations. The space is dedicated to developing and supporting programs that address pressing health needs in Albany’s South End and surrounding areas. Through hands-on initiatives and deep community engagement, the Collaboratory serves as a powerful example of how academic and grassroots efforts can come together to improve lives.
Student-Operated Pharmacy
ACPHS operates a not-for-profit community pharmacy in Schenectady, an underserved area of New York’s Capital Region. The pharmacy enhances access to care for local residents and provides ACPHS students with valuable, hands-on learning experiences in real-world health-care settings.
Community Health and Wellness Expo
Each fall, ACPHS hosts the Community Health and Wellness Expo—a free, family-friendly event that brings the local community together to celebrate wellness, learning and connection. The day is packed with activities for all ages, including free flu shots, health screenings, raffles and giveaways.
With services like blood pressure and glucose checks, plus resources on everything from nutrition to mental health, it's a great way to stay informed, stay healthy, and enjoy time with neighbors and friends.
Community Partnerships
ACPHS students and faculty are passionate about giving back—it's part of who we are. We’ve supported organizations including the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs, Make-A-Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels, National Kidney Foundation, Parsons Child and Family Center, Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Toys for Tots and many more.
From organizing toy drives and delivering meals to volunteering at local shelters and health clinics, we lend our time and talents to causes that matter.
