Research Interests

  • Dr. Lodise’s primary research activities and interests focus on Tobacco Cessation and hormonal, reproductive and sexual health related issues with emphasis on: the use of over the counter medications in an obstetric population; implications of tobacco cessation counseling from a patient and pharmacist’s perspective; addressing curricular gaps to better prepare student pharmacists and contributing to clinical resources available; the public health importance of tobacco cessation education in addition to ongoing educational research.

  • 2015-2016 - Teacher of the Year Award - Presented by ACPHS students to a faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, dedication, and commitment to students
