Acknowledging Original Inhabitants of Campus Land

A second Land Acknowledgement Ceremony, led by student Audrey DeGraw, a senior in the Microbiology Department. DeGraw has worked with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion since last year to share her Native heritage with the campus community. The Land Acknowledgement was timed to commemorate Indigenous Peoples Day.

Moving In 2024

New Panthers moved on to campus on Thursday, Aug. 22. They got a warm welcome and got to know each other with some icebreakers on the campus green. The weather contributed to a perfect welcome party.

Kick Start 2024

Incoming Panthers got acquainted with campus and each other on July 26, 2024 as ACPHS held its Kick Start event in advance of the upcoming academic year.

Senior Week 2024

The annual lead-up to Commencement 2024 included all manner of ways to rejoice, rest and re-set. Graduating students enjoyed food trucks, bouncy houses, a brunch, a trip to alumni-owned Active Ingredient Brewing Co. in Malta and a boat cruise.

Nearly 240 undergraduate, graduate and PharmD students crossed the stage today at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ 144th Commencement at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Graduates-to-be Dazzle at Pre-Commencement Celebration

Research presentations at national conferences and articles in peer-reviewed publications. Work that set the foundation to improve Albany’s schools, as well as health access on the ACPHS campus. Acceptance into a coveted, competitive eight-year, expenses-paid MD-PhD program. Those were among the impressive student – yes, student – accomplishments recited at the 2024 ACPHS Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 9.

2024 SGA Leadership Recognition Banquet

The 2024 Leadership Recognition Banquet was a time to acknowledge accomplishments and celebrate classmates, faculty and staff. The Student Government Association, in conjunction with the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, gave out 23 awards at the April 18 event at Normanside in suburban Delmar. The evening was filled with good food, friendly faces – and lots of love and support.
