Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences recently celebrated its inaugural Employee Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony. The two and a half hour event featured new employee recognition, promotion & tenure announcements, Blythe Award recommendations, retirement announcements and milestone celebrations, capped off with lunch, group photos and an ice cream truck campus visit.

During a week devoted to professionalism, the Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity turned to the College’s chief executive for a lesson in leadership. ACPHS President Toyin Tofade spoke to an assembly of students on Nov. 19, telling them to SOAR like eagles, using her characteristic approach of creating an acronym to impart her advice.

ACPHS’ annual faculty/staff retreat on Aug. 14 focused on adapting to change, with a keynote presentation by Dr. Barbara Trautlein of Change Catalysts. Following a pre-retreat assessment, faculty and staff explored change styles rooted in head, hands or heart – and what their own style meant for their contributions to changes occurring on campus.

Four New Academic Programs to Launch at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences This Fall

July 18, 2024

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has received New York State Education Department approval to offer four new Bachelor of Science programs in biomedical sciences, forensic psychology, forensic science and psychology. Students can begin enrolling in these latest programs for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester.
