A stack of maroon Commencement programs on a table

This month, 42 ACPHS students will be recognized for graduating with either a Bachelor of Science or Master’s of Science degree in one of the College’s 19 academic programs spanning the sciences in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, Social and Behavioral, and Clinical and Health.

Twenty-five percent of the December 2025 graduates are graduating with an MS in Cytotechnology and Molecular Cytology. This program prepares students to play a critical role in diagnosing disease and guiding patient care. The accelerated 16-month program is offered both in person and in hybrid mode in collaboration with one of our satellite extension sites:

  • Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, New York
  • Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Florida
  • UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, New York
  • Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH), Madison, Wisconsin

With access to more than 40 satellite extension sites, graduates of the program boast a 100% ASCP exam pass rate and 100% job placement.

Approximately 8% of the graduates completed an MS in Biomedical Sciences, a program designed to help students strengthen their application to medical or other health-care professional schools. The program boasts an 86% acceptance rate into medical school for all ACPHS students and alumni, which is more than twice the national average. It is offered both in person and online and gives graduates a competitive edge for admission to medical, dental, veterinary, physician assistant, pharmacy and other health-professions programs.

The remainder of the graduates comprise:

  • Six students who started their programs at the now-closed College of Saint Rose will receive bachelor’s degrees in Forensic Psychology through a teach-out program with ACPHS. This program is at the intersection of psychology, law and criminal justice through a forensic lens. It prepares you for a career in law enforcement, victim advocacy, legal research or the psychological treatment of offenders.
  • Five students graduating with a Health Sciences degree and five with a Public Health degree. The former offers more than a strong academic foundation in the basic sciences, behavioral health and patient-centered care, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics expects 13% job growth through 2031. The latter blends health sciences and social justice. In the BS in Public Health program at ACPHS, students build the skills to address today’s most pressing health challenges. And now, there is a pathway available from Public Health to a PharmD degree.
  • Two students completing their studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, preparing them for careers in drug discovery and design, clinical sciences, drug analysis, pharmaceutical chemistry and regulatory policy, as well as drug optimization, delivery, optimal dosing, safety, outcomes and policy.

These graduates now join a global network of 9,000-plus alumni.
