San Diego-native, Valerie Carrillo ’25, grew up in a family committed to providing health care.
The microbiology and molecular biosciences major recalls being so impressed with the College’s research- and internship-rich environment. She knew this was where she had to be to continue her family legacy.
Valerie will step into a role at Eli Lilly after graduation, following a two-year internship experience with them.
