
Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences honored two Distinguished Award recipients, Jeffrey Firlik, M.S.A., R.Ph., ‘74 and Leigh Briscoe-Dwyer ’87 at a recognition dinner as part of Reunion 2025 Weekend at the Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel.

The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to those with a lifetime of career accomplishments and volunteer service to the community or health care field. They are also supporters of the College and its mission to educate the next generation of leaders to improve the health of our society.
In addition, the College recognized 11 other individuals who are part of an esteemed global alumni base more than 9,000 strong. All of the recipients were selected by a peer-nominated review process for their commitment to the fields of pharmacy and health sciences, as well as those who best personified the values most important to ACPHS such as community, collaboration, integrity and student-centeredness.
ACPHS President, Toyin Tofade who presented the awards said, “We are so pleased to bestow these honors on this incredible group of ACPHS alumni and friends. The College is fortunate to have such strong examples of the value of an ACPHS degree. We are so proud of these recipients’ and thrilled to have them as part of our community.”
