Jaclyn Grimaldi (née Hosmer) is a Senior Manager of CMC Project Management at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. A key component of the pharmaceutical industry involves ensuring that clinical and commercial supply demands are met. As part of the CMC Program Management team, Dr. Grimaldi is responsible for managing priorities and timelines across multiple departments and functions within Regeneron, including those related to CMC regulatory filings, product manufacture, release, and availability, and all other CMC-supporting activities for 2 commercial and 1 clinical program. This role also requires interaction with corporate partners to safeguard that clinical and commercial strategies, timelines, and supply needs are effectively communicated and aligned. Dr. Grimaldi's main goal in her current position is to ensure that Regeneron's medicines are available to meet patients' needs — either in a clinical or commercial setting — in order to, ultimately, improve quality of life.

During her sixth year APPE rotations, Dr. Grimaldi had the opportunity to intern at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio and Sanofi in Bridgewater, N.J. These rotations were very valuable; they allowed Dr. Grimaldi to learn about two very different areas of industry in which pharmacists can play a significant role — product safety and regulatory affairs for consumer products (P&G) and global evidence and value development (Sanofi).
