Professional Experience

Dr. McLaughlin served as a public health professional for more than 25 years at the New York State Department of Health (DOH). During this time she worked in multiple bureaus of the department including:

  • Bureau of Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention and Epidemiology
  • Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management
  • Bureau of Chronic Disease Epidemiology and Surveillance
  • Bureau of Cancer Epidemiology

Prior to joining DOH, Dr. McLaughlin was the County Epidemiologist for the Rockland County NY Health Department.
