Graduate Application Deadlines
Graduate applications for the fall 2020 term will be accepted through June 1, 2020 and reviewed on a rolling basis. Graduate tuition scholarships are available for admitted students that meet eligibility criteria. 
  • B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The degree must be conferred prior to enrollment at ACPHS.
  • Pre-requisite and recommended coursework:
    • M.S. Molecular Biosciences pre-requisite courses (one of the following):
      • Cell Biology
      • Molecular Biology
      • Molecular Genetics
        • Additionally, the following courses are recommended:
          • Biochemistry
          • Immunology
          • Microbiology
    • M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences pre-requisite courses:
      • Molecular Biology
      • Human Physiology or Anatomy and Physiology
      • Biochemistry
        • Additionally, the following courses are recommended based on a student's area of interest:
          • Pharmacokinetics
            • Calculus I
            • Calculus II
          • Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis for Drug Discovery
            • Analytical Chemistry
            • Physical Chemistry
  • Completed and officially submitted PharmGrad applicationinclusive of:
    • Names and contact information of two (2) faculty or professional references 
    • Personal essay describing why you wish to pursue graduate study at ACPHS, your specific interest in the academic program and your career goals
    • Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Official transcripts for all college-level coursework, including college-level coursework completed while in high school. An official WES or ECE course-by-course evaluation is required for all coursework taken outside of the United States.

    *All official transcripts or WES/ECE course-by-course evaluations must be submitted directly to PharmGrad (not ACPHS) via the National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, or Credentials Solutions; or mailed by the authorized institution, using one of the following:

  • Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test scores. The GRE must have been completed within the past five (5) years and results should be sent directly to ACPHS (Code 2013) or PharmGrad (Code 7804) by ETS.

    *Current ACPHS students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are exempt from the GRE requirement.
  • Official TOEFL (minimum score of 84) or IELTS (minimum score of 7) scores are required as demonstration of English language proficiency. This requirement may be waived for applicants who have been studying in the United States for at least two (2) years immediately prior to the time of application.

    Official TOEFL results may be sent electronically to ACPHS (Code 2013) or PharmGrad (Code 7804) by ETS. Otherwise, official TOEFL and IELTS results should be mailed directly to ACPHS:
