Application Process

College-wide admissions standards apply to all graduate programs offered at ACPHS. Below is the list of minimum application requirements.

Please read through the entire set of directions below to identify the appropriate application and admissions requirements and to avoid any delays in processing.

Application Requirements for:

M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
M.S. in Molecular Biosciences
M.S. in Health Outcomes & Informatics
  • Pharm.D., B.A., or B.S. degree appropriate to area of intended study; degree must be earned prior to graduate enrollment, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • A fully completed and officially submitted PharmGrad application which includes:
    • Answering all supplemental questions (if applicable)
    • Submitting the names and contact information of at least two (2) faculty or professional references directly into Evaluator section of the application
    • Upload of a well-written personal essay outlining why you wish to pursue graduate studies at ACPHS, your research or specialty areas of interest, and your future goals
    • Upload of a current resume or C.V.
  • Official transcripts from all college coursework that was taken, regardless if a degree was earned or not, must be sent directly to PharmGrad. This includes any college courses taken while in high school. If any coursework was completed at a college outside of the United States, you must submit an official WES or ECE evaluation of ALL foreign transcripts directly to PharmGrad (please do not submit foreign transcripts to PharmGrad, only the WES or ECE will be accepted). For faster, easier processing, please download the transcript request form within the application and give to the Registrar’s Office at each college attended or to WES/ECE (if applicable) so that they are sent directly to PharmGrad. Please DO NOT send transcripts or WES/ECE evaluations directly to the College as this will only cause delays in processing.
  • Official GRE scores that are less than five (5) years old are required of all applicants (current ACPHS students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher are exempt from the GRE requirement). For faster, easier submission please use the code of 7804 and your scores will be uploaded directly into your PharmGrad application.
  • International students must also submit official TOEFL scores (minimum score 84) or official IELTS scores (minimum score 7) directly to the College.  This requirement may be waived if you have been studying in the United States for at least two (2) years immediately prior to the semester you wish to enroll.
  • For fall 2018 enrollment (available for all three M.S. programs), the deadline for both U.S. and international applicants is May 1, 2018.

  • Official GRE scores (see note below)
    • In some instances, applicants with undergraduate GPAs that are below a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale may be considered for admission. In these instances, applicants are required to take the GRE. Therefore, official GRE scores that are less than five (5) years old are required ONLY if your current/graduated official GPA is below a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For international applicants this means that your official WES or ECE evaluated GPA must be a minimum of 3.0/4.0 to waive the GRE. If you are required to submit the GRE based on your official GPA or WES/ECE evaluated GPA, please have your scores sent directly to the College using our official code of 2013.
  • International students must also submit official TOEFL scores (minimum score 84) or official IELTS scores (minimum score 7) directly to the College. This requirement may be waived if you have been studying in the United States for at least two (2) years immediately prior to the semester you wish to enroll.
