ACPHS alumnus, former trustee and faculty member David Kile ‘74, described as an innovator, leader and “gentle giant,” died on Oct. 6 at age 72. His history with the College began more than 50 years ago, when he attended Albany College of Pharmacy, and culminated last spring, when he continued to teach classes after retiring from the faculty in 2022

For as long as Bob Tyndall can remember, an engraved silver bowl sat in the center of the dining room table of his childhood home, commemorating the commissioning of the U.S.S. Frament, a naval destroyer. Later, as an adult, Tyndall displayed it wherever he lived

Kaito Tsutsui was surprised to learn that prior to the COVID pandemic – before he embarked on the professional portion of his pharmacy training – there had been an option for ACPHS students to complete a clinical rotation in Tokyo.  So when he found out it was being reinstated, he jumped at the opportunity, which aligned perfectly with his plans

In June 2023, he participated in the NIIMBL eXperience, a program of the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals that was hosted at ACPHS. The eXperience is an exclusive, in-person, all-expenses-paid immersion program that offers underrepresented minority students’ real-world insight into biopharmaceutical industry careers through hands-on activities and direct interactions with industry professionals
