College to Host Public Forum on Drug Abuse

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) and the Addictions Care Center of Albany will present a "Community Forum on Prescription Drug and Heroin Abuse" on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:00 pm in the ACPHS Student Center.

The event - which is free and open to the public - will feature a diverse range of experts who will provide information and answer questions about opioid abuse and dependence and possible prevention/treatment options.

The Forum will include representatives from the areas of law enforcement, the health care industry, the chemical dependency treatment field, as well as local community members on their paths to recovery.
