Throop Museum Tour

Thursday, February 27, 2014

P4 student Dan Corwin will lead this tour and pill rolling workshop in  the historic Throop Pharmacy Museum.

Dan will be using 19th century pill rolling machines in order to demonstrate what it was like to be a pharmacist in the 1800's.

Located in the main foyer of the College's O'Brien Building, the Throop Pharmacy Museum is faithful recreation of the Throop Drug store. The store was established in 1800 and run by the Throop family for the next 136 years before it's contents were donated to the College in 1938.
