The goals of the program are to provide the essential knowledge for pharmacists to:
- Identify contemporary issues and recent information related to several women’s and men’s health.
- Describe the current therapeutics for BPH, ED, Emergency Contraception, Varicella Zoster, HPV and information on Drugs in Pregnancy and Lactation.
- Specify the role of the pharmacist in the management of patients with these disease states and in counseling patients on the possible risks of drug therapy during pregnancy and lactation.
