| Position Title: | Instructional Technologist |
Position Description:
Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is recruiting for the position of Instructional Technologist in the Office of Academic Affairs. This position will report to the Director of Instructional Technology and is responsible for the development of technology based instructional tools, and providing support and training to faculty with projects including multimedia instruction, presentation software, streaming media and distance learning technologies. The instructional technologist will also research and evaluate instructional applications, prepare workshop based trainings and provide ongoing course management and delivery support.
Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, computer information system, technical communication, or a related field required; Master’s degree is preferred. Strong design and development skills using creative technologies and working knowledge of web and media design concepts required. Qualified applicants will also have experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, VBScript, and Adobe/Macromedia design suites such as Dreamweaver, Captivate, Flash, Fireworks or Photoshop.
