Student Life

Residence Life

ACPHS requires all first and second year students on the Albany campus to live in College owned housing. Students beyond their second year may choose to live on or off campus. The College offers three residence facilities on the Albany campus:

  • South Hall for first and second year students
  • Holland/Princeton Suites for upper class year students

These facilities offer a welcoming, safe environment that more than 600 of our students call home. Each facility is supervised by a live-in professional staff member (Residence Director), who serves as the administrator and supervisor of the facility, while also overseeing the student Resident Assistants.

Together, the Residence Life staff helps to oversee the building, acts as a resource for residents, provides education and mentorship, and serves on an emergency response rotation. The entire ACPHS campus - including all residence halls - is tobacco free.

For specific issues or concerns, please contact one of the Residence Life staff members listed on the side bar of this page. Students living in the residence halls should first contact their Resident Assistant with any questions.

South Hall

Nestled on the south edge of campus is South Hall, the residence hall for all first and second year students. South Hall provides students with a variety of living options with rooms ranging from two to four occupants. Each room contains its own bathroom, as well as heating and air conditioning units. Additionally, all rooms are furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, and desk chair for each occupant. South Hall residents also enjoy the convenience of microwaves and refrigerators in each room.

Holland/Princeton Suites

Holland/Princeton suites offers students the freedom and luxury of an apartment and the convenience of on-campus living. The suites feature fully furnished two, four and five-bedroom options with amenities, including air conditioning, cable television, and laundry facilities.
