Laboratory Instructor

Position Description:

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is seeking applications for a full time Laboratory Instructor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. This is a 9.5 month per year appointment. Responsibilities include classroom lecture, instruction and supervision for students engaged in laboratory exercises and assignments, assessment of student performance and skill development, curriculum development, and operation/maintenance of instructional laboratories. The Laboratory Instructor will also have service responsibilities in the areas of academic advising, departmental or college committees, and student organizations.

BS in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D. preferred. A valid NYS pharmacy license and minimum of 5 years experience working as a pharmacist is required. Teaching experience at a college or university is desirable.
