Assistant or Associate Professor, Pharmaceutics
Position Description:
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in Pharmaceutics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an extramurally funded research program, to train graduate and postdoctoral students and to actively participate in teaching in graduate, undergraduate and profession courses. Applicants with research interests in any aspect of contemporary Pharmaceutics will be considered but those with research interests in biopharmaceutics or protein-based therapeutics are especially encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, or a related discipline with relevant training in Pharmaceutics/Nanopharmaceutics, two years of post-doctoral and relevant academic/research experience and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
