A Message from the Associate Dean

As head of the ACPHS-Vermont campus, I want you to know that the faculty and staff have created a teaching and learning environment in Vermont that delivers the same exceptional pharmacy education that we have provided on our Albany campus for more than 130 years – a program recognized nationally for its excellence.

Our Doctor of Pharmacy program will supply highly qualified pharmacists throughout the country, and in particular, help address the shortage of pharmacists in Vermont and New England. We have already forged relationships with local hospitals, health care institutions, and scores of area pharmacists to help ensure a quality education and a range of experiential opportunities for our students.  In conjunction with all of these external partners, we are working to further the role of pharmacists as members of the healthcare team, expanding traditional roles and creating new ones.

With a campus that is just minutes away from Lake Champlain and the city of Burlington, an array of state-of-the-art resources, an experienced and engaged faculty, and a vibrant student body, all of the pieces are in place for a rewarding educational experience – one that will impact health care in New England and beyond for generations to come.

Please feel free to contact us at 802-735-2601 with any questions that you may have. We look forward to meeting you.

Robert Hamilton, Pharm.D.
