Program of Study - Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Students in the M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS) program will take the following courses and thesis or capstone credits to meet the requirements for graduation. All graduate students are expected to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to remain in good standing and be eligible for graduation. Individual course descriptions may be found in the college catalog.

There are two tracks available to students in the MSPS program: Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. Within each of these tracks are thesis and non-thesis options.

Transfer Credit

Up to nine (9) credit hours of graduate coursework may be transferred to ACPHS from other accredited academic institutions, subject to the approval of the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. To be considered for transfer credit, courses must have been taken within the past seven (7) years and only grades of B or higher will be considered for transfer credit. Courses graded on a pass/fail basis will not be accepted for transfer credit.

Students will need to submit an official transcript showing the course number and title, the number of credit hours, when the course was taken, and the grade received. Students may also need to submit a course description and/or syllabus.
