Continuing Education and Professional Development
It never has been more important for professionals to stay on top of their games. ACPHS offers ongoing Continuing Professional Development courses for pharmacists and other health professionals to help keep them informed on the latest developments in their respective fields. Pharmacists may review the following attachment for information on CE/CPD requirements for licensure renewal in New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
Goal and Mission Statements
Goal Statement: To promote the continuing professional development of pharmacists and other healthcare professionals and providers by offering learning opportunities that meet applicable accreditation standards, licensure requirements, and promote optimal patient care outcomes and medication safety.
Mission Statement: To provide high quality, varied continuing professional development education activities, with a flexible schedule, which promote knowledge, active learning techniques and practice advancement for pharmacists (including alumni, preceptors, and faculty) and other health care professionals and providers.
CPE Monitor is a national, collaborative effort by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists to keep track of their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. It will also offer state boards of pharmacy the opportunity to electronically authenticate the CPE units completed by their licensees rather than requiring submission of proof of statements of credit upon request or completing random audits.
